ARCHIES GROBAGS x H.O.P.

This hip pouch was one of the prizes at the Hell on Wheels Halloween Al**ycat in Birmingham. Here's a breakdown of the collaboration process:

Come up with the idea - Archie’s Grobags
Design a tough, functional hip pouch - Archie’s Grobags
Source construction materials - Archie’s Grobags
Hand make said pouch - Archie’s Grobags
Sew on HOP DFL patch - Archie’s Grobags
Arrange and pay for delivery to competition organiser* - Archie’s Grobags

Give patch to Scott’s friend to take to Hackney Wick - House of Pistard

It was a complex but ultimately fruitful collaboration and I’m sure Scott is happy that, for once, he didn’t have to do everything. The end product is a really tough, functional pouch. We recently ( briefly ) had our hands on one of Scott's courier bags that was given out as a prize at Millportpoloco and you can tell from the build quality that he puts a lot of effort into the manufacturing. It's great that stuff this good is being produced locally and if you're in the market for a new bag and can cope with the waiting list ( he is a one man show ) then Grobags are as good as they get.
Anyone else out there who fancies collaborating with London’s top courier apparel collective you know where to find us, but don’t expect us to bother coming to you.
THANKS TO THE MESSENGER OF DOOM FOR THE PHOTOS

In his wisdom The Westcoastmess recently posted a reasonably amusing snippet** about running people over on the MT Forum ( 9th post down ) instead of here. I swear, if he was paid to work here he'd be sacked by now.
WHAT A BAWBAG!

* In hindsight we really should’ve given Scott the other stuff we ended up sending to Brum, it would’ve saved us a couple of quid. Better keep that in mind for our next Collabo.
**A couple of glasses of Buckfast and that could've been fleshed out onto a full size story.
