Worried that we might end up doing a 'Rapha' I decided to sort out the prizes we're giving to Millportpoloco this year and delivered them by hand to the organiser*. Up for grabs are two 'One Eyed Jack' hoodys ( which are only given out as prizes and can't be bought ) and the very last two Westcoast Messengers 2004 tops, one a girls tee the other a New Rave hoody, plus some other stuff which doesn't exist yet. Provided we get our fingers out.
I was as surprised as anyone that there were still some of those Westcoast Messengers designs left but when you're as bad at stocktaking as we are these sort of things happen. Even more surprising was the discovery of two GODDAMN CANUCK tees, a medium and a large. Because these were a charity tee we can't sell them for ourselves so we'll probably put them on Ebay and donate the cash to the LCEF watch this space for details.
Expect some stirrings on the Millportpoloco site in the next few weeks as the guys claim to be getting organised 'early' this year. Last year most of the event was worked out on the ferry back from Dublin three days beforehand, but the whole weekend still went down a storm.
