Ryan receives his cheque from The PistetteThe GODDAMN CANUCK benefit is over and we managed to raise a grand total of £1650. Last weekend we presented Ryan with his cheque accompanied by all the pazzazz of a lottery winner, we're still waiting for him to find out you can't cash huge cardboard cheques in this country. We sent tees all over the world so a big thank you to everyone who bought one, especially those from the USA who really had to pay due to the current exchange rate. We were actually genuinely busy for the first time ever and spent more time at the Pistard Compound than riding, The Westcoastmess even claimed to be missing Creative at one point.
The Pistette voices her discontent at packing shirts all dayWe sold a lot to non-couriers, many of whom have never met Ryan so it's nice that people come out in support of a fellow cyclist, they obviously understand why Ryan did what he did.
On the legal side Ryan has until the end of March to pay his bill, but he's assured us he has managed to save up the £600 extra he needs to complete the pay-off. The way we see it, he's still learned his lesson but without having to go into debt. So he will be allowed to stay in the country.
