Here at House of Pistard it's important we keep abreast of the current trends, and one that's been going strong for a couple of years is the Tri-spoke* front wheel fad.
After doing a bit of research (in an attempt to become ace trend forecasters) we discovered that it wasn't the bicycle ballet boys over at MASH that started the whole thing, but in fact it was boss-eyed pin-up Jessica Alba. That's right, back at the turn of the century, Alba was tooling around post-apocalyptic Seattle rocking the miss matched wheel look.
Okay, she's not on a track bike but at the time the Bad Boy was Cannondale's attempt at a courier style bike, so you can trace a straight line from the look of today's courier re-enactors right back to crap Sci-fi T.V. from eight years ago.
With that in mind we're off to set the video for Torchwood to steal some ideas.
*they're not all tri-spokes but for the sake of simplicity we'll just call them that.
